A New Life in the Lord
63Rebirth
A New Life in the Lord
I sit hear shaking within my very soul.
As I feel the presence of the Holy Spirit filling a dark hole!
A void within eaten by the cancer called sin,
tearing at my very being, telling me I cannot win!
Now filled with light all the darkness has to flee!
Just as a baby being born, I open my eyes to see!
First things are blurry and not very clear!
But with each passing day I can see more and hear!
Filled with wonder at this new world I am in!
Warmth, joy and peace from the blood that covered my sin!
I see those around me running in the fields of God,
Yet, I am only crawling and bawling, being corrected by the rod!
I try to stand to take a step and I fall again and again!
Until one day by the grace of God walking I begin!
From the milk to the meat my hunger does grow!
Seeking the wisdom of Solomon and all that he did know!
Each day is filled with tribulation here upon this earth!
The devil has fought me every day since my rebirth!
But greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world!
He fight's me so hard because soon into hell he will be hurled!
A literal lake of fire, Jesus has told us so!
Though we can not see it, it as sure as the wind does blow!
Repent, believe and be born again to gain eternal life!
Else like a pig in mire you will wallow in eternal strife!
Today is the day of salvation, know this that it will last!
Jesus died a cruel death and shed his blood to cover your sins of past!
So if you filled with darkness an unrelenting void is bound!
Seek ye the Lord, Seek him now while he may be Found!
The world will keep spinning after your short life is through!
And your faced with eternity, Then what will you do?
Repent of your sins, Believe Jesus died for You!
Be born again of the Holy Ghost and behold all things become new!
So if you filled with darkness an unrelenting void is bound!
Seek ye the Lord, Seek him now while he may be Found!
Matthew 28:16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.
Matthew 28:17 And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.
Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
